Mini Meatballs Spaghetti (serves 3-4)
Ingredients
1 jar Saclà Originale Marinara
1 cup red wine
16 oz dry linguine or spaghetti
sea salt and freshly ground pepper
FOR THE MEATBALLS
1/2 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 oz fresh breadcrumbs
2 oz fresh, grated Parmesan cheese
1 small egg
handful fresh parsley
Method
1. Mix ingredients for the meatballs and shape in 12-16 balls with the
palm of your hand.
2. Place the Saclà Originale Marinara sauce in a saucepan with
the wine and bring to a boil. Simmer gently for a few minutes, and then
gently place the meatballs into the sauce. Cook at low heat for 15-20
minutes.
3. Meanwhile, bring a large pan of salted water to boil and cook the
pasta according to the package instructions.
4. Drain the pasta and return to the pasta pan. Add in the sauce with
meatballs and toss together until the pasta is well coated.
5. Spoon the pasta and meatballs onto plates, sprinkle with extra Parmesan
and parsley.
